The criterion for LVH are as follows: S wave in V1 plus R wave in V5 or V6 >35 mm, S wave V3 plus R in AVL > 28 mm in men, and >20 mm in females, R wave in AVL > 11 mm, R wave V4-V6 >25 mm, S wave V1-V3 >25 mm, S wave V1 or V2 plus R wave in V5 or V6 greater than 35 mmm or an R wave in lead I plus a S wave in lead III greater than 25 mm. This is not pericarditis because there is no diffuse ST elevation.
